Functional narrative

POU domain class 2, associating factor 1 interacts directly with Oct-1 or Oct-2 and an octomer DNA sequence to stimulate and assist in immunoglobulin transcription and B-cell differentiation. The presence of this protein in large quantities is required for adequate response by B-cells to antigens. A deficiency of this protein is associated with immune system failure.
